STEM Instructor

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced STEM/Coding Instructor to join our team at Code Ninjas. As a Code Sensei, you will be responsible for teaching kids how to code and create games in a fun and safe learning environment.

• Oversee the day-to-day coaching and student engagement
• Demonstrate content knowledge and be familiar with Code Ninjas' curriculum
• Create a positive and safe environment for students to learn and grow
• Foster productive and effective working relationships with all students
• Be a role model and act as a mentor to children ages 5 and up
• Open to learning new technologies
• Clean dojo(s) throughout your shift to ensure cleanliness is maintained
• Follow opening and closing duties
• Report daily to Center Director with respect to day's activities, efficiency, and productivity

• Must be able to work in-person at the Center's location
• Must have high energy, sociability, and be good with children ages 5 and up
• Fast learner, ability to pick up coding concepts, and adapt quickly
• Excellent communication skills and a team-player

• Experienced in teaching, mentoring, and/or childcare
• Experienced working with children ages 5 and up (mentoring, coaching, tutoring, babysitting, etc.)
• Tech-savvy, passionate about technology, coding, and gaming

Compensation: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
