Job Description:

As a Radiologic Technologist, you will be responsible for performing and processing X-Rays using portable digital (DR) or computed (CR) radiography equipment. You will submit and transmit these images to a Radiologist for interpretation.

You will also be responsible for unloading portable X-Ray equipment and taking it into facilities to perform exams ordered by physicians. You must obtain clinically diagnostic, technically competent x-ray images.

Additionally, you will perform EKGs (as needed) and transmit them to a Cardiologist for interpretation. You will also scan exam-related paperwork and billing documents on a daily basis per protocol.

You will regularly communicate with dispatch and management, and interact professionally with peers, supervisory staff, and clients. You will also maintain vehicle and x-ray equipment.

The physical demands of this job include:

  • Pushing/pulling equipment weighing up to 50 lbs
  • Using vehicle ramps and pulleys to reduce weight
  • Working in a fast-paced environment with frequent lifting and bending

  • Hold a valid driver's license in the applicable state
