Secondary ELA Teacher

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Secondary ELA Teacher to join our team at Answers in Genesis Group. As a key member of our educational team, you will play a vital role in shaping the minds of our students and equipping them with a strong biblical worldview.

The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching English Language Arts to secondary students, creating a learning environment that is conducive to academic excellence and spiritual growth. You will be expected to plan and prepare engaging lessons, assess student progress, and provide feedback to students and parents.

• Teach English Language Arts to secondary students, incorporating biblical principles and worldview into the curriculum.
• Develop and implement lesson plans that promote academic excellence and spiritual growth.
• Assess student progress, provide feedback, and make adjustments to instruction as needed.
• Communicate effectively with parents, students, and colleagues to ensure a collaborative and supportive learning environment.
• Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills and stay current with best practices.

• Bachelor's degree in English Language Arts or a related field.
• Completed student teaching and/or educational field experience.
• Two or more years of classroom teaching experience preferred.
• Current teaching certificate from a Christian school association and/or State Teaching Certificate in Education preferred.
• Master's degree in education or an ELA field preferred.
