Key Responsibilities- Provide medical care and treatment to patients in a correctional setting
- Work under the supervision of the Site Medical Director with broad latitude for independent judgment and initiative
- Take a leading role in the delivery of healthcare services to our patients
- Ensure medical record documentation is accurate and up-to-date
- Adhere to approved formulary for therapeutic regimens
- Provide emergency treatment and respond appropriately in urgent or emergency situations
- Support standards of medical care through adherence to existing policies and procedures
- Participate in medical staff meetings and provide in-service education to staff as requested
- Must be a licensed Physician in the state of employment
- Current DEA registration
