Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and safety-conscious Transportation Coordinator to join our team at Morningside House Senior Living. As a key member of our staff, you will be responsible for transporting residents on regularly scheduled trips and special events, while ensuring the safety and well-being of our residents.

Key Responsibilities
  • Transport residents and perform community errands as assigned, ensuring the safe return of all residents to the building.
  • Assist residents in and out of the vehicle, maintaining a positive and professional demeanor at all times.
  • Ensure all vehicle inspection tags, license, and insurance cards are current and displayed properly.
  • Maintain the cleanliness of the vehicle(s) by performing regular interior and exterior cleaning.
  • Respond promptly and appropriately to accidents and emergencies, prioritizing the safety of our residents.
  • Report mechanical needs and repairs, coordinating necessary vehicle maintenance and repair services.
  • Support activities and outings as requested, fostering a sense of community among our residents.
  • Strive to maintain a safe working environment through accident prevention, equipment preservation, and safe working practices.
  • Adhere to all policies and procedures of Morningside Elite Management.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent; or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of educational experience.
  • A safe driving record in accordance with Morningside Elite Management driver policy; a CDL is not required for this position.
