About the Job
The selected candidate will work as a pediatric gastroenterologist in a busy clinic setting, providing scheduled and unscheduled patient consultations. You will be responsible for evaluating patients, diagnosing conditions, and developing treatment plans. Additionally, you may be required to participate in surgical procedures at a local hospital or surgery center.

Schedule
The schedule for this position includes working 8-hour shifts in the clinic from Monday to Friday, with no weekend coverage. Surgical center hours may vary but typically include one day per week. On-call responsibilities will be shared among the medical staff.

Patient Load and Responsibilities
You will be seeing approximately 13-14 patients per shift. The number of beds allocated for this role will be determined by the healthcare facility.

Credentials and Certification
To be eligible for this position, candidates must hold a minimum of Board Certification in Pediatrics (BCE) and have a valid Medical License. We use Epic as our Electronic Health Record system.

Compensation
This locum tenens opportunity offers a competitive salary estimated around $250,000 annually, considering the location and the specialist's expertise.
