Job Summary

As a Physical Therapist Outpatient, you will provide high-quality patient care and contribute to the success of our Outpatient Rehab team at Corewell Health. Your expertise in physical therapy will enable you to assess patient needs, develop effective treatment plans, and educate patients and caregivers on rehabilitation techniques and strategies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate patients to determine the level of disability and develop personalized treatment plans to restore function and promote independence.
  • Provide physical therapy services to patients, including exercises, stretches, and other interventions to improve mobility and reduce pain.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure comprehensive care and address patient needs.
  • Document patient progress and treatment outcomes in accordance with department standards and medical-legal requirements.
  • Participate in ongoing process improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of new programs and services.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent from an accredited physical therapy program.
  • Preferred Master's Degree.
  • 6 months of relevant experience preferred.
  • LIC-Physical Therapist - STATE_MI State of Michigan Upon Hire required.
  • LIC-Driver's License - STATE_MI State of Michigan Home Care Business Lines Upon Hire required.
  • CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) - AHA American Heart Association 90 Days required or CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) - ARC American Red Cross 90 Days required.
Work Environment

This role is based in the West Pavilion Wilson - Wyoming location, with a full-time schedule and 40 hours of work per week. The ideal candidate will be available to work Monday to Friday, with no weekend frequency.
