About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Procurement Specialist to join our team at Lockheed Martin Corporation. As a key member of our SEMAC Operations Support and Information Technology team, you will be responsible for awarding and administering contracts in support of internal customer requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Procurement File Documentation: Prepare procurement file documentation in accordance with LMAP/CAP procedures in a high-volume, quick-turn environment.
  • Supplier Management: Source and purchase various procurements, including machinery, equipment, tools, raw materials, packaging materials, parts, services, and/or supplies necessary to support the operation of the organization.
  • Contract Administration: Review proposals, negotiate prices, select or recommend suppliers, analyze trends, follow up on orders placed, verify delivery, approve payment, and maintain necessary records.
  • Pricing and Negotiations: Determine pricing to be fair and reasonable based on technical evaluation, history, market data, or cost element evaluation.
  • Contract Management: Work closely with suppliers to execute contracts and provide contract management support with complex contracts.
  • Procurement Interface: Work all aspects of the Procurement interface, including competition, supplier performance indicators, invoices/billings, changes, schedule, budgets, funding.
  • Facilities Support: Provide competitive and single-source procurement of hardware and services.
  • Commercial Item Determination: Determine commercial items.
  • Price Analysis: Conduct price analysis.
  • Negotiations: Negotiate contracts.
  • Proactive Customer Support: Provide proactive customer support.
