Key Responsibilities
  • Perform a variety of technical procedures applying ionizing radiation to detect pathology.
  • Regulate equipment to expose x-ray film, develop, and organize films.
  • Operate equipment safely and maintain ALARA standards.
  • Establish and maintain good rapport with fellow employees, other departments, and medical staff.
Requirements
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support certification within 30 days of employment start date.
  • State Registered Radiologic Technician certification.
  • Registered Radiographer (ARRT) certification.

HCA Florida JFK North Hospital is a 280-bed acute care facility with a 124-bed behavioral health unit.
