Key Responsibilities

The primary duties of this role, all conducted in accordance with banking policies and procedures, include:

  • Addressing customer inquiries, including assistance with online banking issues such as locked accounts and forgotten passwords;
  • Routing incoming calls to the appropriate internal departments and branches;
  • Providing backup support for the proof function, which involves encoding tasks, capturing and transmitting encoded items, and reconciling end-of-day proof entries;
  • Reviewing daily, weekly, and monthly financial reports for discrepancies;
  • Managing Debit Card operations, including ordering, investigating potential fraud, and deactivating cards as necessary;
  • Processing and evaluating various reports, including new online banking applications and transaction reports;
  • Entering General Ledger tickets and descriptions into the internal system on a daily basis;
  • Handling returned mail items efficiently;
  • Reconciling various internal accounts regularly;
  • Ensuring all new personal and business accounts are accurately established and maintained in the internal system;
  • Collaborating with branch personnel regarding account modifications and corrections;
  • Addressing customer complaints as required;
  • Developing a comprehensive understanding of banking products, procedures, and policies to assist both customers and staff;
  • Participating in project implementations as needed;
  • Performing additional tasks as assigned by management.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Experience in customer service roles is essential;
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills are required;
  • Proficiency in computer applications, particularly the Microsoft Office Suite, with a strong emphasis on Excel and Word;
  • Self-motivation and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively while meeting deadlines are crucial for success in this position.
