Job Title: Substitute School Nurse

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Substitute School Nurse to join our team at Windham Public Schools. As a Substitute School Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality healthcare services to students and staff.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide critical care services to students with medical needs
  • Administer medications as prescribed by physicians
  • Maintain accurate medication records and reports
  • Communicate effectively with medical, nursing, and district personnel
  • Manage and provide health room services, including first aid and CPR
  • Offer guidance and counseling in health-related matters to students, staff, and parents
Qualifications:
  • Nurse Certification (RN or LPN)
  • Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) Certification
  • Automated External Defibrillators (AED) Certification
  • State/FBI Criminal History Clearance
  • Department of Children and Families Child Abuse and Neglect Registry Record Clearance
