We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Substitute School Nurse to join our team at Windham Public Schools. As a Substitute School Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality healthcare services to students and staff.
Responsibilities:- Provide critical care services to students with medical needs
- Administer medications as prescribed by physicians
- Maintain accurate medication records and reports
- Communicate effectively with medical, nursing, and district personnel
- Manage and provide health room services, including first aid and CPR
- Offer guidance and counseling in health-related matters to students, staff, and parents
- Nurse Certification (RN or LPN)
- Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) Certification
- Automated External Defibrillators (AED) Certification
- State/FBI Criminal History Clearance
- Department of Children and Families Child Abuse and Neglect Registry Record Clearance
