Embryologist Job Description

The Embryologist plays a vital role in the success of our IVF cycles. As a key member of our laboratory team, you will be responsible for performing complex procedures, including egg retrieval, sperm preparation, fertilization check, embryo evaluation, cryopreservation, and thawing. Your expertise will be essential in ensuring the highest quality of our services.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform all procedures required for IVF cycles, including medium and dish preparation, egg retrieval, sperm preparation, fertilization check, embryo evaluation, cryopreservation, and thawing.
• Conduct andrology services, including semen sample preparation for artificial inseminations and IVF, sperm cryopreservation, and complete sperm analysis.
• Participate in laboratory quality control, quality assessment, and quality improvement programs, record keeping, and data collection.
• Contribute to research on oocyte cryopreservation, oocyte maturation, preimplantation genetic diagnosis, and related research.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in laboratory science required; Master's degree preferred.
• 3-4 years prior experience in human IVF laboratory.
• Ability to participate in a rotating schedule, including weekends, holidays, and early morning or late afternoon hours.
• BLS certification and evidence of a negative TB test within the last 6 months.
