**About the Role**
We are seeking a skilled Route Merchandiser - Snack and Beverage Specialist to join our team at Five Star Breaktime Solutions. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering top-notch customer service and ensuring that our vending machines and micro-markets are always fully stocked with an array of delicious snacks and refreshing drinks.
**Estimated Salary:** $45,000 per year, based on industry standards and location.
Job Responsibilities:
* Deliver and stock vending machines and micro-markets with a variety of snacks and beverages, ensuring that they are always fully replenished and well-organized.
* Provide exceptional customer service, responding promptly to customer inquiries and resolving any issues in a professional and courteous manner.
* Execute plan-o-grams and merchandising displays to maximize product visibility and appeal.
* Manage cash handling and inventory control, accurately recording transactions and monitoring stock levels to prevent shortages or overstocking.
* Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as cleaning and sanitizing vending machines and micro-markets, and making minor repairs or adjustments as needed.
* Work independently throughout the day, navigating customer locations and operating a company-provided vehicle to ensure efficient delivery and restocking.
* Collaborate with colleagues to achieve team goals and objectives, sharing knowledge and expertise to drive business success.
* Maintain accurate records and reports, tracking sales data, customer interactions, and other relevant metrics to inform business decisions.
**Requirements and Qualifications:**
* High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in a related field preferred.
* Valid driver's license and clean driving record required.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers, colleagues, and management.
* Ability to lift 50 pounds or more on a repetitive basis, with frequent bending, reaching, and stooping.
* Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to think critically and make sound decisions.
* Familiarity with DOT regulations and safety protocols.
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities simultaneously.
