Job Summary: We are seeking a highly qualified Paraprofessional Educator to join our team at Greene County High CCA. The successful candidate will provide instructional support to students and teachers, and contribute to a positive and inclusive learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist teachers with instructional activities, such as preparing materials, leading small groups, and providing one-on-one support to students.
- Help maintain a safe and organized classroom environment, and support the implementation of classroom routines and procedures.
- Communicate effectively with students, teachers, and parents to ensure a smooth and successful learning experience.
- Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance instructional skills and knowledge.
Requirements:
- Must have completed two years of higher education, or must have an associate degree, or have successfully passed formal assessment for paraprofessionals.
- Hold or be eligible for a valid Georgia paraprofessional certificate.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working with students in a educational setting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
