The ideal candidate will have a strong background in obstetrics and be able to provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment. The Labor and Delivery Nurse will be responsible for providing direct patient care to women in labor, as well as caring for newborns and their mothers.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform assessments and monitor the progress of labor
  • Prepare for C-sections and inductions
  • Administer care during labor, post-delivery, and postpartum
  • Provide patient education and emotional support
  • Coordinate transfers and prepare the delivery room

Qualifications:

  • Current RN licensure in Colorado
  • 4 years of experience in obstetrics care
  • Knowledge of labor, delivery, postpartum, and nursing care essentials
  • Principles of sterile technique and infection control

Working Environment:

  • Full-time position with 36 hours per week
  • May rotate shifts and areas as staffing and census requires
  • On-call required
