">As an Inpatient RN, you will have the opportunity to earn a competitive salary, with a base rate of $40.00 per hour, and the potential for increased rates based on experience. You will also be eligible for shift differentials of up to $7.00 per hour for evening, night, and weekend shifts.

">We are seeking a skilled Critical Care Cardiovascular Nurse to join our team at Geisinger Medical Center in Danville, Pennsylvania. As a member of our interdisciplinary team, you will provide high-quality patient care to individuals with complex cardiovascular conditions, including heart failure, cardiac arrhythmias, and coronary artery disease.
">Your responsibilities will include assessing patients' physical, psychological, social, cultural, and spiritual needs, developing individualized care plans, and implementing evidence-based interventions to promote optimal patient outcomes. You will also work collaboratively with physicians, respiratory therapists, physical and occupational therapists, and other healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive care.
">Required Skills and Qualifications
">To be successful in this role, you must possess a current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of Pennsylvania and a Basic Life Support certification. You should also have graduated from a Specialty Training Program in Nursing and have prior experience working in a critical care setting.

">Schedule Details
">This is a full-time position, working nights, with every other weekend and holiday rotation. Staff have the flexibility to self-schedule and may transition to 0.9 FTE after orientation. Please note that the schedule is subject to change based on business needs.
">Unit Details
">The Advanced Acute Care Cardiovascular unit is a 30-bed, private room unit that cares for patients with complex cardiovascular conditions. We take patients requiring conscious sedation for bedside cardioversions, chest tube insertion, and other invasive procedures. Our team works collaboratively to provide comprehensive care and support patients and their families throughout their hospital stay.
">Education and Certifications
">A graduate from a Specialty Training Program in Nursing and a current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of Pennsylvania are required. A Basic Life Support certification is also necessary. Prior experience working in a critical care setting is preferred.
