This role is based in a call center/corporate office environment, where you will work closely with our billing department to resolve patient problems and questions related to medical billing. You will be responsible for taking telephone calls, researching and resolving issues, processing credit card payments, and working with insurance-related matters.
To succeed in this position, you must have a minimum of one year's experience in a medical billing office setting, with knowledge of medical terminology, ICD-9, CPT coding, and EOB interpretation. Excellent organizational, customer service, and communication skills are essential, as well as related computer experience and working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, and Next Gen systems.
We offer a competitive benefits package, including PTO, paid holidays, vacation time, and 401K. The working hours for this position are from 9am to 5pm, Monday to Friday.
