Job Description

We are looking for a skilled Facilities Maintenance Specialist to join our team. As a Facilities Maintenance Specialist at CBRE, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of building systems, including plumbing, electrical, painting, roofing, heating, and cooling. You will also be responsible for implementing preventive maintenance programs to ensure building machinery and systems meet or exceed their rated life.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain facility and building systems up to applicable standards
  • Perform maintenance and repairs to mechanical, plumbing, structural, furniture, fire, life safety, and control systems
  • Implement preventive maintenance programs to ensure building machinery and systems meet or exceed their rated life
  • Assist with emergency repairs as needed
  • Review inspections to building systems including fire alarms, HVAC, and plumbing

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

">
  • High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma with 4-5 years of job-related experience
  • Universal CFC certification or Electrician license preferred
  • Ability to exercise judgment based on analysis of multiple sources of information
  • Willingness to take a new perspective on existing solutions
  • Microsoft Office skills, including Word, Excel, Outlook
  • Sophisticated math skills, ability to calculate figures such as percentages, fractions, and other financial-related calculations
