Millwright - Manufacturing Specialist

Hunt Forest Products is seeking a skilled Millwright to join our team in Pollock, LA. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing equipment and facilities.

• Perform routine maintenance tasks to prevent equipment downtime and ensure optimal performance.
• Conduct inspections and repairs on machinery and equipment to identify and address potential issues.
• Collaborate with operators and other maintenance staff to learn and understand the function and operation of all production and support equipment.
• Develop and maintain a working knowledge of blueprints, layouts, and technical data to support equipment maintenance and repair.
• Operate and maintain all tooling and equipment according to manufacturer specifications.

• High school diploma or equivalent minimum; higher education and/or certifications preferred.
• Must be mechanically inclined and possess a basic knowledge of welding and hydraulics.
• Previous experience with equipment maintenance in a manufacturing environment (5+ years) is required.
• This is a safety-sensitive position, and the successful candidate must be able to work in an industrial environment with varying temperatures, noise levels, and strong odors.
• Must be able to safely operate assigned tools and equipment, and lift up to 50 lbs. unassisted.
