Job Title: Information Technology Manager

This is an on-site position, Monday through Friday.

Job Summary:

Oversee the IT department for the corporate office, remote locations, and other technical operations within the organization.

Identify the organization's IT needs, update and enhance current computer systems, and resolve employees' technical issues efficiently.

This position also oversees the department responsible for creating the daily airtime log for each television station.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead development and implementation processes for the organization's IT systems and department.
  • Develop and implement business continuity protocols to minimize disruption to business operations in the event of emergency situations or data loss.
  • Establish efficiency and efficacy standards, providing recommendations for improvement of IT infrastructure.
  • Analyze IT infrastructure and systems performance to assess operating costs, productivity levels, upgrade requirements, and other metrics and needs.
  • Oversee security of systems, networks, and enterprise information.
  • Facilitate IT security audits or investigations.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with external IT vendors and service providers.
  • Coordinate multisite IT systems.
  • Support for all corporate software applications: Microsoft Office, Raisers Edge, WideOrbit, Business Central, Microsoft Exchange, and others, Microsoft 365.
  • Responsible for Virtual Host Servers, Windows Servers, Virtual Servers, QNAP Storage Units.
  • Responsible for all data backups.
  • Interview, hire, and train new staff members.
  • Currently responsible for a staff of four team members.
  • Conduct employee performance evaluations that are timely and constructive.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
Requirements:
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficient in latest technology for IT systems and management.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent analytical and management skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Through understanding of IT and practical applications to support the company's goals.
  • Ability to lead and teach others.
  • Ability to explain highly technical concepts in simple terms.
  • Knowledge of best computer security practices.
Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science. A master's degree may serve as a substitute for some experience.
  • At least ten years of experience in information technology.
  • At least five years of experience managing an IT department.
  • Experience with Raisers Edge, WideOrbit, or Business Central is helpful but not required.
