Position Summary

We are currently seeking a Facilities Maintenance Supervisor to oversee our maintenance operations. This role is essential in ensuring that all mechanical, plumbing, and electrical systems are functioning optimally within our facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and mentor the maintenance team, providing guidance and training to enhance their skills.
  • Utilize and manage the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) for effective operations.
  • Plan and execute preventive, scheduled, and responsive maintenance tasks across all facilities, including carpentry, electrical work, HVAC, plumbing, and general upkeep.
  • Conduct inspections of completed work to ensure compliance with specifications and regulations.
  • Assist in preparing various reports, including long-term facility plans and maintenance schedules.
  • Oversee procurement and inventory management to ensure the availability of necessary materials.
  • Supervise and evaluate the performance of maintenance personnel.
  • Participate in the hiring process and recommend personnel actions as needed.
  • Establish training systems to ensure staff meet performance and safety standards.
  • Manage departmental budgets, monitoring expenditures and financial data.
  • Maintain accurate blueprints and system plans for all facilities.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED, with technical training or equivalent experience.
  • Preferred college degree and relevant trade certifications (HVAC, electrical, plumbing).
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and customer service skills.
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Proficient in troubleshooting mechanical issues.
  • Valid Non-CDL Class C Driver's License with a clean driving record.
