**Diagnostic Imaging Role
Fairview Health Services invites applications for a skilled Imaging and Diagnostic Care Provider to join our team at St John's Hospital. As a key member of our imaging team, you will contribute to delivering high-quality patient care and advancing community health.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct a variety of diagnostic ultrasound exams under the supervision of a Radiologist.
- Provide patient education, ensuring clear understanding of procedures and results.
- Review patient history, consult with clinicians, and prepare necessary supplies before exams.
- Collaborate with other departments to facilitate interventional procedures, ensuring seamless care coordination.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to infection control standards.
- Process requisitions and charges accurately, supporting efficient operations.
- Stay informed about industry trends, best practices, and regulatory updates.
Requirements:
- Achieve an Associate degree from an accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography program.
- Hold a current BLS certification from a reputable organization.
- Attain RDMS certification within one year of employment.
- Prior experience in a hospital setting is beneficial.
