Position Overview:

The technician will be accountable for the maintenance and repair of a diverse range of agricultural, landscaping, and construction machinery. This role may involve traveling to various job sites to perform on-site repairs. Candidates must exhibit a broad spectrum of skills, from fundamental mechanical tasks to intricate technical diagnostics of contemporary computerized systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct repairs and maintenance on various types of equipment, particularly in the agricultural, landscaping, and construction sectors.
  • Utilize personal basic tool kit for service tasks.
  • Navigate product support software and computer applications for work order management and customer invoicing.
  • Maintain effective customer relations and address any customer concerns professionally.
  • Collaborate effectively with colleagues to foster a positive work environment.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and practices at all times.

Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years of experience in mechanical repair, ideally with agricultural, landscaping, or construction equipment.
  • Possession of a valid Florida Driver's License.
  • Proficient mechanical knowledge, especially with z-tracks and 2-stroke equipment.
  • Certification in automotive air-conditioning is preferred.
  • Able to read and interpret hydraulic schematics and diagnose hydraulic system issues.
  • Capable of reading electrical schematics and identifying electronic faults.
  • Experience in diagnosing and repairing diesel engines is essential.
  • Familiarity with telematics systems is a plus.
  • Excellent communication skills with a good sense of humor are highly valued.
  • Ability to maintain organized files and perform basic data entry tasks.
  • Capable of thriving in a fast-paced environment and meeting deadlines under extreme conditions.
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively as a team player.
  • Self-motivated with a drive for excellence.
