A CT Imaging Specialist collaborates with the leadership of Medical Imaging and the department's medical director to formulate operational policies and procedures. This position entails executing diagnostic and interventional CT examinations and procedures within the established protocols. The individual in this role serves as a mentor and resource within the department.
Work Schedule:
Part-Time / Weekend Evening Shifts
Hours:
0.6 FTE / 24 hours per week
Sunday-Monday 10:30 PM - 11:00 PM
Qualifications:
- AA/BA/BS degree from an accredited Radiology program or completion of a formal military or hospital-based radiology technologist training program required.
- Preferred: Minimum of 1 year experience as a medical imaging technologist. Previous hospital experience is advantageous. For Lead roles, a minimum of six months of prior leadership experience is preferred.
- ARRT(R) registry is required upon hire.
- Washington State certification as a Radiologic Technologist (RT) is mandatory upon hire, with biannual renewal required by DOH and Overlake Medical Center.
- ARRT(CT) advanced registry must be obtained within 6 months of employment as a CT Imaging Specialist.
- Requires 24 CME credits every two years (Biennium).
- Current Healthcare Provider CPR certification is necessary upon hire.
- Formal IV start training and annual competencies in IV starts as applicable for the position.

Compensation Details:
Posted pay ranges reflect the entire pay scale, from minimum to maximum. For positions with multiple levels, the posted range indicates the minimum of the lowest level and the maximum of the highest level. Additional pay may be offered based on shift, certifications, or degrees. Job offers are determined based on relevant experience, education level, and internal equity.
