Job Title: Senior Utility Coordinator

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Utility Coordinator to join our team at T2 Utility Engineers. As a Senior Utility Coordinator, you will be responsible for coordinating utility projects, identifying and executing utility coordination strategies, and communicating with project stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate utility projects from initiation to completion, ensuring timely and within-budget delivery.
  • Develop and implement utility coordination strategies to minimize conflicts and ensure smooth project execution.
  • Communicate effectively with project stakeholders, including project owners, prime designers, and utility companies.
  • Identify and mitigate utility conflicts through thorough examination and understanding of existing utility infrastructure and proposed project scope.
  • Manage and maintain utility conflict matrices, relocation matrices, and utility relocation schedules.
  • Organize and chair utility coordination meetings, record minutes, and follow up on action items.
  • Participate in regular project meetings and provide updates on utility coordination progress.
  • Calculate utility relocation costs and provide recommendations for cost-effective solutions.
  • Collaborate with SUE, CCTV, and Utility Design groups to develop utility relocation designs.
  • Manage project finances, including review of monthly project invoices and identification of scope creep or additional budget requirements.
Requirements:
  • 5 years of experience as a Project Manager in the Municipal, Highway, or Utility engineering industry.
  • Strong knowledge of Utility Coordination practices, right-of-way management, utility design and construction, surveying, and SUE mapping.
  • Excellent presentation skills and an outgoing personality.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle for travel to meetings.
