Qualifications:
- Valid RN license in Florida
- Associate's Degree in Nursing; Bachelor's Degree preferred
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications from ARC or AHA required prior to employment
- Previous experience in critical care preferred
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess and evaluate assigned patients, plan and implement nursing care, and document all care provided.
- Assist physicians during examinations and medical procedures.
- Conduct various patient tests and administer medications within the scope of nursing practice.
- Foster patient independence by setting care objectives and educating patients on their conditions, medications, and self-care techniques.
