Optometric Technician

Job Summary

The Optometric Technician is responsible for delivering exceptional patient care and ensuring a seamless experience for our patients. This role requires strong communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist the optometrist in eye examinations, including obtaining medical history and preparing patients for examination.
• Perform various tasks to aid the optometrist in accurate diagnosis and treatment, including reviewing prescriptions and patient information.
• Provide exceptional customer service and ensure a positive experience for patients.
• Maintain accurate and organized patient records, including filing and handling confidential information.
• Support the retail team in maintaining a clean and organized store environment.

Requirements

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Minimum of one year of customer service experience.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of office environment and basic math skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in retail and/or optical.
• Experience in healthcare.
