Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Cardiac Sonographer PRN to join our team at Alaska Regional Hospital. As a key member of our Cardiopulmonary team, you will perform a variety of cardiac ultrasound procedures with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities
  • Perform two-dimensional ultrasonic recordings for diagnosis of cardiac disease
  • Conduct exams as requested by ordering physicians and under the guidelines set by the Diagnostic Imaging Department
  • Work collaboratively with the Echocardiography Supervisor, Assistant Director, or Director of Diagnostic Imaging to ensure high-quality patient care
Requirements
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support certification within 30 days of employment start date
  • Vocational School Graduate or Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) or Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) certification within 1 year of employment start date
