Overview

The Automation Center of Excellence is seeking a skilled Artificial Intelligence (AI) Business Systems Analyst (BSA) with dedicated experience in AI projects (utilizing tools such as OpenAI ChatGPT, Google Gemini, Glean, Anthropic Claude, among others). The objective is to leverage structured data to eliminate confusion and complexity, identifying frequent manual tasks (such as Knowledge Bases, Chat Bots, Document Reading, Data Analytics, etc.) to enhance AI capabilities and optimize strategic workloads. This role demands an individual who can drive AI projects from conception to execution by analyzing various scenarios in innovative ways.

Trailblazer - The ideal candidate will have a history of leading projects with uncertain directions in the AI sector. The landscape is filled with documentation, resources, and compliance guidelines necessary for success in these AI initiatives. A minimum of three major projects where the candidate has navigated these complexities to deliver effective AI solutions is essential. This role will involve creating a 'breadcrumb trail' to establish a repeatable process for others to emulate.

Collaboration - Daily interactions with multiple teams to comprehend the AI journey will be integral to this position. The candidate will serve as a role model, inspiring AI subject matter experts to achieve production goals within tight timelines. Staying updated on numerous AI projects and maintaining connections with team members responsible for defining processes will be crucial. The role will require monitoring and advancing over 50 projects concurrently, necessitating structured documentation with actionable items and defined deadlines.

Process Development - In AI projects, it may be unclear when team approvals are necessary. If not addressed early, this can lead to missed deadlines. The candidate will need to establish a process that incorporates various approval checkpoints and be flexible enough to adapt the process mid-project to accommodate new requirements. Approval sources will include Application Owners, Product Owners, Engineering Management, Enterprise Security Leadership, Legal Partners, Internal Auditors, PCI Compliance Experts, and Cyber Security Professionals. Recent experience interacting with leaders in these roles and building a consistent path forward is essential.

Solution Path Creator

This position will collaborate with Engineering Teams to identify beneficial information for AI projects. A mindset geared towards process re-engineering is preferred, as most AI projects will begin as unstructured, requiring the identification of gaps and the formulation of defined solution plans and timelines. While this is not an engineering role, familiarity with common AI organizational challenges is necessary. To be effective, this position will promote AI best practices, enhance program awareness, prevent duplication of efforts, and foster a sense of community aligned with clear, high-level process documentation to support all AI projects and teams.
