About the Role:

This Sanctions Compliance Expert will play a critical role in ensuring Citigroup's compliance with sanctions regulations, identifying and mitigating risks, and collaborating with stakeholders to implement effective controls.

The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of sanctions and AML regulations, as well as excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong communication and collaboration skills are essential for success in this role.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain internal strategies, policies, procedures, and processes related to sanctions risk management.">
  • Collaborate with business units and compliance teams to assess and mitigate sanctions risks.">
  • Provide sanctions advisory support to Payments and Platform and Data Services (PDS) businesses.">
  • Analyze data, prepare, and present regional and global reports related to sanctions risk assessments and monitoring.">

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in a related field.">
  • Proficiency in Spanish is preferred.">
  • Expertise in sanctions and AML regulations, risks, and typologies.">
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.">
  • Ability to work collaboratively and independently in a complex organization.">
