Truck Driver CDL A Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Class A CDL Truck Driver to join our team at Ryder in Orlando, FL.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive a tractor trailer or comparable vehicle to transport goods safely and efficiently.
  • Ensure compliance with federal and state laws, regulations, and agency rules.
  • Load and unload freight, or assist in the loading/unloading process as required.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 21 years of age.
  • Pass a Ryder drug test, background check, and motor vehicle check.
  • Pass a DOT physical and Ryder road test.
  • Provide a valid Class A CDL and endorsements.
  • Have 9 months of verifiable experience in a tractor trailer or comparable vehicle within the past 3 years, or 2 years' experience within the last 5 years, or 5 years' experience within the last 10 years.
