Fiber Optic Lineman Ground Hand Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Fiber Optic Lineman Ground Hand to join our team at Swift Communications LLC. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in the installation, maintenance, and repair of our fiber optic network.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist with the installation, maintenance, and repair of fiber optic lines
  • Work safely and efficiently in various weather conditions
  • Perform ground support duties, including preparing materials and tools
  • Ensure job site safety and cleanliness
  • Support linemen in climbing poles and towers when necessary
  • Perform other related duties as assigned
Requirements:
  • Must have a clean driving record
  • Must not be afraid of heights
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Must be able to work in various weather conditions, including sun, rain, and snow
  • Strong work ethic and ability to work as part of a team
  • Willingness to travel throughout Washington as needed
