Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Cardiology Specialist to join our team at Dignity Health Woodland Memorial Hospital. As a key member of our cardiovascular team, you will be responsible for performing routine and complex echocardiography, ECG, cardiac exercise, and interventional Cardiac Catheterization diagnostic procedures.

Responsibilities
  • Perform echocardiography, ECG, cardiac exercise, and interventional Cardiac Catheterization diagnostic procedures in accordance with departmental protocols, standards, and practices.
  • Demonstrate competency in working with neonate, pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients.
  • Recognize emergency situations and respond effectively and appropriately.
  • Anticipate patient/unit needs during emergency/code situations without requiring direction.
  • Safely operate and maintain unit equipment.
Qualifications
  • College education with courses in physiology, anatomy, and echocardiography.
  • Registered Cardiac Sonographer or American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) certification.
  • 1 year experience and/or 1 year clinical internship.
  • Experience in echocardiographic and Doppler technology or the ability to exhibit special skills.
