Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Busser to join our team at Gringos Tex-Mex. As a Busser, you will play a vital role in ensuring our guests have an exceptional dining experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Obtain section assignments at the beginning of each shift and maintain a clean and organized workspace.
  • Take used tableware to the dish pit and unload, sort, and stack silverware, glassware, and dishes in designated areas.
  • Between seatings, promptly clean table tops, chairs, booths, booster seats, and high chairs to maintain a clean and welcoming environment.
  • Handle food and beverages with care, including chips and salsa.
  • Check the floor and clean as needed to ensure a safe and clean environment for our guests.
  • Sweep floors, sidewalks, and parking lot to maintain a clean and well-maintained exterior.
  • Monitor trash cans and empty them as needed to prevent overflow.
  • Clean restrooms to ensure a clean and hygienic environment for our guests.
  • Follow proper closing procedures to keep the store clean and organized.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by being kind and courteous to our guests.
  • Interact with guests and fulfill requests or relay requests to servers.
Requirements
  • Previous restaurant experience is not required, but preferred.
  • Ability to read and understand simple instructions.
  • Ability to write simple correspondence.
  • Ability to effectively present information to guests and other team members.
  • Must have exceptional hygiene and grooming habits.
Physical Demands
  • Constant standing and walking.
  • Occasional stooping and kneeling.
  • Occasional pushing, pulling, lifting, or carrying up to 60 pounds.
  • Occasional ascending or descending ladders, stairs, or ramps.
