Behavioral Therapist

We are seeking a highly skilled Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our team at Piece by Piece Autism Centers. As a BCBA, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality behavioral therapy to children with autism in underserved communities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee a caseload of 6-10 clients, conducting initial assessments, writing behavior intervention plans, and individualized treatment plans.
• Utilize assessments such as the VB-MAPP, AFLS, PEAK, and/or EFL to assess client progress and develop new treatment goals.
• Consult with caregivers monthly to provide parent training and progress updates.
• Supervise Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) staff during weekly consultation sessions.
• Supervise BCBA trainees participating in our student supervision program.
• Train new therapists on ABA principles in preparation for their RBT exam.

Requirements:

• Active BCBA certification from the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB).
• Clear background check.
• Ability to assume and maintain various postures for extended periods.
• Ability to lift up to 30 pounds.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with Catalyst and Central Reach.
• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Experience with Google Workspace apps (Drive, Docs, Gmail).
• Safety Care training.
• Active and valid CPR and First Aid certification from the American Red Cross or American Heart Association.
