We are seeking a skilled Packaging Machine Operator to join our team at Shearer's Foods. As a Packaging Machine Operator, you will be responsible for running, changing over, and maintaining the efficiency and quality of 3-5 packaging machines.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Set up and operate packaging equipment, following precise recipes and work procedures.
  • Monitor and adjust variables to ensure product quality and efficiency.
  • Perform product quality tests and data collection.
  • Communicate changes and plans to team members and supervision.
  • Multi-task and prioritize throughout the day.
Requirements:
  • Leadership skills to set an example for the line.
  • Troubleshooting skills to work through problems and find root causes.
  • Basic computer skills to run production and perform verifications.
  • Time management skills to effectively manage time and complete changeovers.
  • Flexibility to work weekends and overtime when needed.
