We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Nurse Practitioner to join our Pulmonary Hypertension Program at NYU Grossman School of Medicine. As a key member of our interdisciplinary team, you will provide comprehensive care to patients with pulmonary hypertension, working closely with our attending physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities:
  • Obtain thorough histories and perform physical examinations to diagnose and manage pulmonary hypertension
  • Order and interpret diagnostic tests, including echocardiograms and right heart catheterizations
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, including medication management and lifestyle modifications
  • Collaborate with our multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care, including education and support for patients and families
  • Participate in research studies and quality improvement initiatives to advance the field of pulmonary hypertension
Requirements:
  • Master's degree in Nursing
  • Current registration as a Professional Nurse in New York and registration as a Nurse Practitioner in New York
  • Board certification in a relevant specialty, such as Pulmonary Hypertension or Critical Care
  • At least 5 years of clinical experience in pulmonary hypertension or a related field
