Job Summary
At Acutec Precision Aerospace Inc., we are seeking a skilled Deburr Technician to join our team. As a key member of our production team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the high-quality finish of our aircraft parts.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Work from blueprints to deburr and clean high-tolerance aerospace parts, ensuring they meet customer specifications.
- Operate various hand and power tools to remove burrs and tool marks from metal parts.
- Inspect parts for accuracy and quality, reporting any defects or issues to the Supervisor.
- Perform housekeeping duties as required.
- Other duties as assigned by the Supervisor.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required; three to five years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, apply basic mathematics, and communicate effectively with internal and external customers.
- Understanding of edge break, chamfer, radius, and fillet print requirements.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Working Conditions
The Deburr Technician will work in a fast-paced production environment with frequent exposure to moving mechanical parts, sharp objects, and airborne particles. Safety procedures and protocols must be followed at all times.
