Faculty Position in Photography

We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced part-time faculty member to teach photography courses at Coast Community College District. The successful candidate will have a strong background in photography and be able to effectively communicate with students of diverse backgrounds.
Responsibilities- Teach photography courses, including introductory and advanced classes, as needed.
- Develop and implement curriculum that aligns with the college's goals and objectives.
- Assess student learning and provide feedback to students.
- Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to the development of departmental policies and procedures.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the department chair or dean.
- Masters degree in photography or a related field, or a bachelors degree in photography or a related field and a master's degree in art history or humanities.
- At least two years of experience teaching photography courses at the community college level.
- Strong background in photography and ability to effectively communicate with students of diverse backgrounds.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and contribute to the development of departmental policies and procedures.
This is a part-time, temporary position, and the successful candidate will be required to work on a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends, as needed.
