The Ambulatory Surgical Center is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Nurse to join our team. As an RN- Multiple Departments, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care in a fast-paced environment.

Job Summary:

The Nurse Circulator plays a critical role in the provision of nursing care to patients in the Ambulatory Surgical Center setting. With a focus on ensuring seamless transitions between departments, this individual assumes total responsibility for patient care in accordance with physician's orders and center policies.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform scrub functions, including the selection and handling of instruments and supplies used during procedures.
  • Perform circulating functions, including monitoring, recording, and communicating patient condition and managing overall nursing care of the patient before, during, and after procedures.
  • Directly assist operating physicians with surgical tasks, including hemostasis, suturing, and wound exposure, as well as patient positioning.
  • Prepare operating rooms and surgical instruments and equipment for use.

Qualifications:

  • Graduate of an Accredited School of Nursing; current state RN license required.
  • CPR and ACLS certification necessary.
  • Minimum one year of experience in the OR, with the ability to scrub as well as circulate.
