About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Multimedia Content Reviewer to join our Localization team at Welocalize. As a trusted global transformation partner, we accelerate the global business journey by enabling brands and companies to reach, engage, and grow international audiences.

Key Responsibilities
  • Localize, translate, and adapt content for various categories, including multimedia, legal, technical, marketing, and more, while adhering to writing style guides and guidelines.
  • Write new copy for a range of multimedia products, such as music, TV, and app store apps, video-on-demand, and game subscriptions services.
  • Perform regular linguistic review of own work and other team members' work for all content types.
  • Copy-edit and fact-check content to ensure accuracy.
  • Perform LQA (Localization QA) testing of content published on live platforms.
  • Conduct market-specific research on local content treatment, content, product, and terminology trends, and best localization practices for the target audience.
Requirements
  • BS/BA and 2+ years of work experience in linguistic, journalism, copy-writing, or copy-editing media content.
  • Experience in translation and localization of multimedia content.
  • Native-level fluency in fr-FR.
  • Excellent grammar and writing skills in fr-FR.
  • Fluency in written and verbal English.
  • Strong creative writing, proofreading, and editing skills in fr-FR.
  • Knowledge of iOS/MacOS systems.
  • Ability to work independently and remotely.
  • Collaborative and enjoys teamwork in a multicultural environment.
