West Henderson Hospital is currently under construction and is expected to open in the near future. When it does, it will be the seventh acute care hospital in The Valley Health System. It will be located at the southwest corner of Raiders Parkway and St. Rose Parkway, near the Las Vegas Raiders' headquarters. When the hospital opens, it will feature:

• 150 beds
• A 37-bay emergency department
• Surgical suites, including heart and hybrid suites
• Endoscopy suites
• Cardiac catheterization labs
• An electrophysiology lab to treat heart rhythm disorders
• An interventional radiology/special procedures lab to treat neurological disorders
• Inpatient nursing care units

**Job Responsibilities:**
As a Patient Care Specialist, you will be responsible for providing patient care and service under the direction of the Registered Nurse. Your duties will include:

• Providing high-quality patient care and service
• Assisting with patient assessments and developing care plans
• Administering medications and treatments as directed by the Registered Nurse
• Maintaining accurate and up-to-date patient records
• Collaborating with the healthcare team to ensure seamless patient care

**Requirements:**
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Successful completion of a basic cardiac arrhythmia course or successful completion of an arrhythmia test given by the Education Department preferred
• Techs working with IVs must have successfully completed an IV course
• Current BCLS certification required
• Approved Crisis Management Course required
• Certificate of completion of a basic cardiac arrhythmia course preferred
• Certified Phlebotomist preferred
• IV Certification preferred
