Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Quality Assistant Manager to uphold compliance with operational protocols and regulatory standards at our plasma collection facility. This role entails the documentation of compliance metrics, engaging in ongoing enhancement initiatives, overseeing training processes, and serving as the center's representative during audits.

  • Document and report compliance metrics to operational quality management
  • Engage with center leadership on initiatives for continuous improvement
  • Oversee training processes and policies at the facility level

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct final quality assurance reviews and authorize all shipments
  • Maintain and assess training documentation for center personnel
  • Initiate and oversee training programs for new employees and refresher training
  • Perform process evaluations to ensure adherence to compliance
  • Lead internal audits to assess facility compliance
  • Ensure timely closure of Trackwise reports
  • Promote a safe working environment and adhere to regulations

Qualifications and Skills

Education

A high school diploma or equivalent is required. An Associate or Bachelor's degree in business administration or biological sciences is preferred.

Experience

  • At least 1 year of leadership experience in a regulated setting
  • Exceptional customer service, critical thinking, and decision-making abilities
  • Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail
  • Familiarity with Quality Systems and regulatory training requirements

Work Environment

  • Occasional interaction with dissatisfied individuals
  • 80% of the time spent standing and walking, 20% sitting
  • Occasional requirement to lift and carry items weighing up to 25 lbs.
  • Exposure to varying temperatures and odors
