The Wellspring Nurse Source is seeking a travel nurse for a medical surgical position in the Bangor area. As a travel nurse, you will have the opportunity to work with patients who have various medical conditions and provide patient-centered care in a fast-paced environment.

Job Details

This travel nursing job requires 36 hours per week working 12 hours per day, providing 24/7 care to patients with acute and chronic medical conditions. You will be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care for these patients.

You will also be responsible for monitoring patient status, administering medications and treatments, and maintaining accurate and thorough patient records. Additionally, you will communicate effectively with the healthcare team regarding patient progress and any changes in condition.

The estimated salary for this position is approximately $140,000 per year, which includes a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.

About the Role
  • Patient Care: Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for patients with a variety of medical conditions and post-operative needs.
  • Clinical Documentation: Maintain accurate and thorough patient records, including assessments, interventions, and outcomes.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Coordinate care with physicians, physical therapists, dietitians, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Technical Skills: Operate and maintain medical equipment such as IV pumps, wound vacuums, and telemetry monitors.
  • Patient Advocacy: Promote patient safety and ensure compliance with hospital policies and regulatory standards.
