Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Sous Chef to join our culinary team at Highgate at Wenatchee. This role requires a motivated and organized individual who can lead a team of cooks and kitchen staff to deliver exceptional food services to our residents.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the production and delivery of a culinary program that meets the dietary needs and preferences of our residents.
  • Lead a team of cooks and kitchen staff to ensure efficient service and maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Develop and implement menus that cater to diverse tastes and dietary requirements.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records and manage food supplies effectively.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including food safety and handling procedures.
Requirements
  • At least 21 years of age.
  • A combination of education and experience that supports Sous Chef status.
  • Current negative TB test.
  • Knowledgeable in, or can quickly learn, various regulatory standards for the kitchen.
  • Willingness to learn how to work in a healthcare/assisted living environment.
  • ServeSafe certified or able to obtain within 60 days of hire.
  • Ability to pass criminal record/background check.
  • Good time management skills.
  • Must be able to work well independently with little oversight.
Salary Range

$22.00 - $27.00 per hour.
