We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at Somerby of Mobile. As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining the physical environment of our community, ensuring that it remains safe, attractive, and well-maintained.

Key Responsibilities
  • Facilities Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance on HVAC units, elevators, fire and sprinkler equipment, generators, landscape equipment, kitchen equipment, and emergency pull cord equipment.
  • Preventive Maintenance: Complete scheduled and assigned maintenance projects to prevent equipment failures and ensure the smooth operation of our facilities.
  • Respond to Resident Requests: Promptly respond to resident requests for maintenance and repairs, ensuring that their needs are met in a timely and professional manner.
  • Unit Preparation: Ensure that vacant units are ready for move-in according to our community standards, including completing any necessary repairs or maintenance.
Requirements
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
  • Experience: At least 3 years of relevant work experience
  • Certifications: HVAC Certified (preferred), CPR Certified
