At Steward Health Care, we are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team in the Medical ICU department.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a dedicated and experienced RN to provide high-quality patient care in our Medical ICU. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in critical care nursing and be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct and indirect patient care to critically ill patients
  • Participate in patient/family/staff education and training
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
  • Assume charge nurse responsibilities as assigned
  • Make patient care assignments based on skill, experience, and acuity of the patient
  • Direct and precept staff as needed/assigned
  • Participate in quality process improvements in the department

Requirements:

  • Associate's degree in nursing (ADN) from an accredited school of nursing
  • Bachelor's degree in nursing (BSN) from an accredited school of nursing, preferred
  • Current American Heart Association Healthcare Provider Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Experience working with electronic medical records systems
