Job Overview

We are seeking dedicated professionals to work as Behavior Technicians at Centria Healthcare, making a positive impact in the lives of children with autism.

In this role, you will collaborate with children one-on-one, implementing tailored behavior intervention plans under the guidance of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).

You will utilize evidence-based techniques to teach essential life skills, such as communication, socialization, and daily living skills, while minimizing interfering behaviors.

To be successful in this position, you must be passionate about helping children with autism reach their full potential. A patient and compassionate demeanor, along with excellent teamwork skills, is essential.

Comprehensive training will be provided to equip you with the necessary tools and confidence to support each child's unique needs. As part of this role, you will be comfortable working in a dynamic environment that requires standing, walking, sitting, grasping, reaching, bending, kneeling, crouching, squatting, lifting, and carrying children or objects weighing up to 50 pounds.

The estimated salary for this position is $19-$24 per hour, depending on qualifications and experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implementing individualized behavior intervention plans
  • Collaborating with BCBA to develop and implement treatment plans
  • Teaching essential life skills to children with autism
  • Minimizing interfering behaviors through evidence-based techniques

Requirements:

  • Patient and compassionate individual with a passion for helping children with autism
  • Able to work well in a team environment
  • 18 years of age or older
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Ability to obtain CPR, First Aid Certification, and Tuberculosis test if not previously completed within the last year
  • Pass a pre-employment background check
  • Capable of moving in various positions (sitting, squatting, bending, etc.)
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
