We are seeking an experienced Environmental Health and Safety Manager to join our team at Marvin, a premier window and door manufacturer in North America. As the primary Safety & Health role at our new facility, you will be responsible for developing and implementing safety and health programs, policies, and strategies to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.

You will lead the local S&H team, focusing on team and individual development, and ensure full compliance with all applicable health and safety regulations. Your expertise in environmental policies and procedures will be essential in aligning with corporate directions and initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and lead site-specific Safety & Health programs and ensure adherence to enterprise policies, programs, and procedures
  • Develop and implement a strategic annual goal setting plan for eliminating injuries and accidents through proactive risk identification and mitigation
  • Support enterprise sustainability goals and initiatives, promoting environmental programs at the local level
Requirements
  • Strong understanding of government and professional organizations such as OSHA, Voluntary Protection program, NIOSH, NRC, ASSP NFPA, and the National Safety Council
  • Experience and/or proven understanding of EPA, State, Local, OSHA, and DOT regulations, programs, and policies
  • Ability to develop and maintain relationships with employees, leadership, and regulatory personnel
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field strongly preferred; demonstrated knowledge and experience may be considered in place of degree
  • 5+ years' experience in safety-related role(s) with increasing levels of responsibility
