Residential Counselor

Community Resources for Justice is seeking a compassionate and dependable Residential Counselor to support individuals with developmental or intellectual disabilities in our Fitchburg, MA location. This is a full-time, 40-hours/week, non-exempt position that offers competitive pay and excellent benefits.
About the Role
As a Residential Counselor, you will supervise and transport clients during assigned hours, support and teach clients new skills, and administer medications. You will also maintain accurate documentation and provide a positive role model for clients to support their highest quality of life.
Responsibilities
Supervise and transport clients during assigned hours
Support and teach clients new skills, including specific goals in their Individual Service Plan
Administer medications and complete documentation in a timely manner
Maintain a safe and supportive environment for clients
Requirements
High School Diploma or equivalent
Valid Driver's license and reliable transportation
Desire to make a genuine difference in the lives of others
Ability to pass required certifications and background checks
